Ate there today and had to write a review. Exactly what you want in a canteen. Ordered 2 double burger trios. Came out to a bit over $20 (before tip). Cheaper than 2 MacDonald's trios and 100 times better. Great burger and great fries and slaw. Very friendly staff. A great end to the day after a morning of kayaking. Will definitely return next time I'm in Magog .
Decent poutine. Curds are soft not squeeky and gravy is too salty. The place has Lots of character
Good place if you want to eat a good poutine with home made fries.
If this poutine is the best around then Magog is in trouble. Mediocre poutine at best, gravy tastes like it came straight from a cheap bulk can of gravy, smoked meat clearly came directly from a can, was barely warm. The inside and workers are nice, but that's not relevant when I just want some good poutine. Didn't get it here unfortunately.
Bit crowded on weekends. But food is decent and worth the wait
