It's easy to pass this place by from the Main street, but don't! There's a fantastic, quiet terrasse in the back, overlooking the yacht mooring, with the lake in the background (try it at twilight). The menu is wonderful -- I recommend the rosemary-tinged lamb, then creme brulee for dessert. All the sauces are delicious. The bilingual servers are very personable and accommodating. Best of all, there are a couple of dynamite Spanish reds on the wine list -- someone has very discerning tastes here. Definitely worth the prices.
Slow service. Appetizers were great, the main course was disproportionate across our table. Fruit flies fell in my beer. Overall not a good evening at this location.
My family was sick the night after eating at the restaurant - could have been something else as you can never directly assign blame, but it happened to all of us and we all ordered different things. Food tasted very good but service was poor. They dropped off food and did not come back until they wanted to sell desert. All in all, a very poor dinner experience. Overpriced small portions. To give you an idea, I asked for 2 olives for a my Bloody Caesar and they added $5 to the bill. Magog is full of other great places to go.
Very cute place and quiet in the afternoon. My brother and father got the soup and fish and chips. They only had one vegetarian option but it was risotto so I enjoyed it. The service was nice and fast enough. The portion sizes were on the small side but my party was full by the end so it didn't matter! The food is rich and flavourful, it's a good place if you're looking for a fancy lunch with a nice glass of wine.
Small and cozy restaurant. It was over crowded. Late service. Few staff to attend to all guests. Kitchen also too small to process multiple orders. Tried sword fish and taste wise it was good but the quantity was less than expected.
