The location is easy to find, if a little away from everything else (which may be a good thing, depending on what you're looking for!). Rooms were nice and clean,if a little dated. Beds were comfortable and I slept well. The attached restaurant (which is a bring your own wine place. They have no alcohol to serve!) was very nice and I had a delicious dinner. Only downsides here are that the WiFi didn't work for us and the restaurant doesn't serve breakfast, which is fair. All in all a good stop on our trip.
Food and service were excellent. A little pricey but well worth the delicious experience
Food was good for my Wife and I. Child portion of noodles was supposed to be plain. He ate 3 bites and was done for dinner as it was not plain. The hotel room was ok for a non 5 star $$$ room. Balcony wood deck and railing are not completely safe.
Excellent menu et service.
First visit, having eaten at many Magog restaurants and cafes. We would give the dishes we tried excellent ratings 4.5An entree special includes three small portions a fried cheese, Light, from the nearby Abbey. I would have preferred a stronger cheese to counter the tasty crumb coating. The duck rillette was excellent with a blueberry topping sauce. The third taste was three slices of fried kalamari.My wife had a delicious warmed Brie with a berry sauce. Main courses were a pasta carbonara, lots of bacon and wonderful sauce. The duck special was, perhaps the best I have eaten, generous slices of magnet (breast) and a generous portion of shredded duck under a delicious mound of sweet potato souffl. And last, but first was a delicious soup with two sides visibly separated, sweet potato and next to it a beet soup.Bring your own wine and beer!
